Real Life Zombie weekend in oregon!

I was sitting today at work bored off my ass when I read cool article in the Willamette Week weekly paper. Apparently you can pay to live a real life zombie apocalypse for a weekend! Sounds pretty rad huh? Well this was such a great idea I can’t believe I didn’t think of it a long time ago. Apparently you can camp out in the wilderness with replica guns and live out the dream of being feasted upon by the undead right here in Oregon! It’s actually a more of a game where you of course can be turned into a zombie as well. Your gun fires bb’s and you and your team try to survive the weekend. While being hunted!

Walking Dead Tv Series: Mtv Exclusive Kirkman Interview!

I just read an interview with Robert Kirkman on The Walking Dead Tv series today at Mtv.com. I am really hoping they can pull the grit from the comic book onto the tv screen. It’s obviously a major concern of many people. Even though in the interveiw Kirkman claims the comic book does not rely on gore it still should be noted that he pushes the limit far beyond what’s normally seen on television in the series.

Either way I am pumped to see how well this show turns out & here is some of what Mtv had to report in the interview:

Arnold confrimed to appear in the new Predator sequel!

There were rumors flying a couple months ago all over the internet about the possibiltiy of Arnold Schwarzenegger appearing in the upcoming  Robert Rodriquez produced  sequel “Predators”. Well now it has been officially confirmed that Arnold will indeed be  repirsing his role in a cameo as Dutch. This news was leaked via The Latino Review  (make sure to check this link and watch their video about the script) who aquired a 90 page script of the action movie. The script they claimed was  “Worthy of the original Predator”. They also confirmed  there is a cameo  written in for Schwarzenegger that will make fans go wild. Hopefully that means arnold has got a gigantic gun in his hands and telling people to get to the chopper!

What do Neil Gaiman & A House on Rock in Wisconsin have in common?

Well it’s definately feeling as if the summer has come to an end here in Portland. Even though it’s not cold out yet there’s just something in the air that feels different. The summer of 2009 for me was a bit of a dull experience  & one thing I should have was headed back to my home state of Wisconsin. Beleive it or not there is alot of cool things to do there besides drink beer and eat cheese. Of course while doing all of these other cool things it’s kinda a requirement to be drinking beer and eating cheese as well at the same time. You know from my previous blog I would have once again tried to solve the mystery of the legendary ghostly Paulding Light & I would have most definately headed to Wisconsin Dells too. Never heard of it? Well It’s essentially an entire theme park city with the biggest & most water slides in the entire country! But there’s more on the city streets, there’s the wax museums, Ripley’s believe it or not museum, haunted houses, robot world, the wisconsin duck rides, water skiing shows, roller coasters ect. ect. and  it’s pretty much the best place to be during the hot humid Wisconsin summers.

There’s another bizarre place I would have visited as well which is the main reason why I write this,  that’s pretty close by the Dells in a city called Spring Green. The epic “House on the Rock“! Continue reading

The Scoop On “The Lost Boys 3”!

I am a forgiving guy, I really am, all my friends can attest to this about me. That is probably the ONLY reason why I am excited and willing to give the third installment of the Lost Boys a chance. After the second movie, The Lost Boys: The Tribe, I was extremely let down and quite frankly a little bit pissed off. I firmly beleive it could have been fairly easy to write a super rad sequel to The Lost Boys. Something like the sound of the plot of  “The Lost Boys: The Thirst” which is been announced as the official title.

Pee-Wee Herman is Officially Back!

Can you beleive it? Pee-Wee Herman is BACK! Talk about some serious nostalgia seeing Pee-Wee appear on the Jay Leno Show last night! He was a huge part of my childhood in fact in my room I have my Pee-Wee Herman doll (that speaks!) Chairy too (which is a Hand Puppet) and the super cool ventriloquist doll Billy Baloney (who appears in my “Get You Own Box” video gorging his face with Cheez-It Crackers) . Anyway it’s was a great surpise seeing him back on the scene with a  brand new stage show on the horizon. Check this out if you missed it!

“REC 2” can you handle it?!

I am not sure how It is that I just found out about the sequel to the amazing spanish movie REC but all I can really say is I’m more than ready to continue the journey!! REC was the far superior original of the later well made US version “Quarantine”. It seems the original directors Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza are back  for the sequel which is great news.
