The BEST Craziest Episode of the 1980’s Twilight Zone: WILLIAM FRIEDKIN style!!

Today we’re talking’ some 1980s TV and we’re covering the scariest, craziest episode of the 1980s Twilight Zone directed by William “The Exorcist” Friedkin! This 80s incarnation of the the iconic anthology series just does NOT get enough love, in fact so many people seem to have forgotten it all together. Well we’ll discuss how it all came together after the highly controversial, tragic but iconic 1983 film and just how some of these installments of the 1980s series could’ve been used for a sequel film! Check it out!

1980’s Puppet Mayhem from the Director of INDEPENDENCE DAY?!

I love a great AMBLIN rip-off flick! There are many from the 1980s that steal the vibe from classic “kids in danger” films like ET, The GOONIES & POLTERGEIST! However back in the 80s Roland Emmerich of INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996) and GODZILLA (1998) fame busted out a couple that feature some serious puppet MYAHEM! Yeah MAKING CONTACT (1985) & GHOST CHASE (1987) are some weird-o fx heavy head scratchers that need a wider cult following! Not only does he heavily rip off Spielberg but also goes hard & fails on the John Hughes rip too in the unbelievably idiotic ‘Ghost Chase’! For fans obsessed with PUPPETS!

Washed Up Comic Dork on The Latest FANTASTIC FOUR Trailer & Modern ADD Streaming Content!

Today we take a closer look at “dumbed down on purpose” streaming content, the upcoming ‘FANTASTIC FOUR: First Steps’ film & the state of the MCU & modern comic books from the perspective of an old WASHED UP Marvel Comics collector! All from my bedroom! PLUS more ideas on where the MCU should go if they wanna get the approval of us old nerds of the 1980s who collected comic books and were picked on for it when it WASN’T COOL!

The Director of The HITCHER (1986) Returned to the Road Horror Genre in the 2000s with HIGHWAYMEN!!

Today I tackle the largely forgotten 2004 road rage horror of HIGHWAYMEN! In the 2000’s Robert Harmon, director of THE HITCHER (1986) returned to the horror genre to deliver more of his signature “road terror” with this largely forgotten film that I feel deserves to be talked about a LOT more. Features Jim “Jesus” Caviezal and Rhona Mitra in a fight against a psychotic serial killer who stalks random people using his old beat up demonic looking car as his murder weapon. The most URGENT car chases ensue in a tale of road revenge delivered by the master of the genre himself!

Before PHANTASM There Was KENNY & COMPANY!

Are YOU a fan of PHANTASM? How about The GOONIES?! Well if so you’ve just gotta check out Don Coscarelli’s coming of age forgotten treasure KENNY & COMPANY from 1976! Today I cover this unique little gem from simpler times filled with adventure and razor sharp comedy that essentially features the entire cast of PHANTASM. Yes this sweet under seen 70s cult classic was also the inspiration to Coscarelli to craft his iconic horror franchise. Check this out if you’re looking for something truly authentic from times when kids and adult alike had thicker skin and a much bigger sense of humor! Are you a fan of films like The Howling, Dog Soldiers, Full Eclipse or even Predator: 2?! If so I think you’re probably gonna dig ‘Werewolves’ just as much as I did! Practical werewolves brought to you by hands on fx mastermind Alec Gillis who worked on ‘Aliens’ (among so many others) and directed by Steven C. Has Cobra Kai Become a Karate Kid PARODY?! Plus Will Hilary Swank Join the Season Six FINALE?!

I’m a huge OG Karate Kid fan all the way back from seeing it in 1984!! Here’s my thoughts as an old school fan of the beloved 80’s franchise, now, looking back at SIX seasons of Cobra Kai! PLUS my thoughts on the 1994 controversial film THE NEXT KARATE KID with Hilary Swank and how they must complete the “Miyagi-verse” by putting Julie Pierce in the FINAL episodes of the series!! What do YOU think? I’m curious what fans of the original think of the direction and tone of the series and exactly how you think it might end up!
