Serial Clothing Killers!
Wow here’s a first of it’s kind-the new Woolite commercial directed by…. Rob Zombie?!! Yeah I know it sounds like some weird fucked up dream, but it’s true it’s the first of it’s kind, the first horror themed detergent commercial!!
Obscure Super Hero Movies! Hunky Vegetables!
Ok so this isn’t really that obscure of a movie, but I do know that a good number of my friends have never actually seen 1989’s Return of the Swamp Thing!!! What the hell is up with that? You do see the original Swamp Thing movie all over the place but very rarely do you see the sequel, which is actually kind of a reboot. So I say to all you people there that love super radly bad 80’s movie’s that you best be seeking this gem out!
This box office bomb has it all really, super awesome 1980’s monsters are everywhere in this movie and even better they are throwin’ down with each other constantly! Continue reading
Conan Comes Clean!
I have always been a fan of Conan O’brien, you know for years he used to help me fall asleep…well actually it was most likely Carson Daly who caused me to snooze afterwards, so when Conan got screwed by Leno I will admit I was a little mad! I always felt like Conan had to be a great guy and always kinda wondered what he was really like in real life. Well his new movie most likely puts that idea a bit closer into perspective. “Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop” looks like we’ll all finally get the scoop into the man and get a good idea of what really happened to his tv carreer.
Sadly I don’t get to see Conan too much anymore as I don’t have cable, nor do I want cable tv because frankly there’s nothing ever on it worth watching! O’Brien would be the exception I guess, oh and maybe that show “River Monsters” that’s pretty awesome as well….
Obscure Super Hero Movies! Jack Tripper Kicks ASS!
Yeah! What a great discovery made today in the world of obscure super hero movies! “Hero at Large” is now the number one movie I’m trackin’ down upon my first viewing of the the trailer-it features one of my favorite people ever-John Ritter AKA Jack Tripper!!!
Yeah straight out of Three’s Company the late great Ritter apparently starred in this incredible looking zany real life super hero flick! Continue reading
Ditch the Hero and Get With The Zero Boys!
I just recently was able to see yet another great 1980’s horror movie that I had never seen before! These are really great moments for a person like myself who really thrives on a great 80’s flick that delivers the goods! Better yet is seeing one that somehow slipped through my hands up until now. This most recent movie is The Zero Boys way back from 1986.

To say this is a flat out horror movie just isn’t fair as it’s taking equal parts from 80’s action movies like Rambo and blending it all together into one fun mess of a schlocky good movie! Continue reading
Obscure Super Hero Flicks! Part Two!!
So you just couldn’t get enough of Thor this weekend huh? You’re still craving your super hero movie fix like a maniac? Well calm the hell down and check this shit out! So here we have another amazing movie that you super hero fanatics probably have NEVER seen before! So instead of watching Iron Man 2 again watch something with a little more class already! Fear not because Argoman has arrived!!
This Italian film from 1967 features the masked playboy Argoman fights to retrieve the worlds biggest diamond from crazy evil woman named Jenabelle and her henchmen of villainous robots! Argoman’s kryptonite apparently is unfortunately having sex! Where he loses his superpowers for hours after the experience! Sucks for him!! Oh well no pain no gain I guess! Check out this trailer to see this guy in action!
Guillermo Del Toro to Remake The Swamp Thing?
Well no actually, but wouldn’t that be awesome?!? It occured to me last night as I threw in Wes “Scre4m” Craven’s Swamp Thing last night before I hit the sack that there are some movies that I’d welcome a remake for provided they have the right director attached-Swamp thing is one such movie.
That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy the ridiculous vibe of the original Swamp thing or even the more campy (if you can believe that) Swamp Thing 2 Continue reading
What do David Bowie & Wolverine Have in Common?
Word on the street is that The Wolverine, the sequel to the god damn awful “X-men Origins: Wolverine” is possibly back on track after the recent depressing news that Darren Aronofsky, had left the project. Naturally I thought the worst, thinking our new director would be some hack like Michael Bay or Uwe Boll and we’d get a repeat of the last movie-more shit served up hot for us true Wolverine fans.
Well it seems someone out there still gives a damn about ol’ Wolvie as new has hit that Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie and director of the amazing sci-fi movie Moon and most recently Source Code (which I’ve yet to see). If you’ve seen his work you’ll agree that if he does indeed direct The Wolverine we’ll be getting something special from a director who actually cares about the final product. So once again, I am excited about a new Wolverine movie, so please guys don’t let me down again….
Check this interview out where we get a little bit of the scoop on Wolverine!
Let a Hesher Into YOUR Life!!
I just saw the trailer for the upcoming movie “Hesher” and I gotta say it looks pretty interesting! The movie posters I’ve seen have the Title in the old school Metallica font so that’s got to be a good thing right? Well judging by the trailer this movie looks to be alot of fun as a family takes in a heavy metal vagrant named, oddly enough, “Hesher”. Coincidence? I don’t think so!
Perhaps this is the origin of the man that originated the term “hesher”. One can only hope! Either way it looks like it’ll be a pretty unique movie and you got to love the soundtrack right in the trailer right? Check it out as it seems Hesher is making this little family’s life A LOT more interesting kinda like a modern retelling of Harry and the Hendersons really….
“It’s the first feature film directed by Spencer Susser. It’s the story of T.J., a 13-year-old boy who lost his mother in an accident. He lives with his grandmother and his father, a man who’s depressed and unable to react to the loss of his wife. His life will change radically when T.J. meets Hesher, a lonely and angry anarchist who moves in their garage. With his rough attitude he’ll help the family to find each other. In the cast Joseph Gordon Levitt, Natalie Portman and Devin Brochu.”
The Best Horror Film of 2011?
Last night was an epic evening at the theater! You know the kind of experience where afterwards you feel like you hung out at an amusement park for and hour and a half? Yeah it was that fun and worth every penny spent. I have to say I had pretty low expectations for James Wan’s newest flick “Insidious”. I was not a fan of the Saw franchise, I thought Dead Silence was anything but scary and Death Sentence was hokey as hell.
So why the hell did I shell out the money for this one? Pure chance..But a chance well taken as I am willing to bet this one is going to be my favorite horror movie of 2011. Continue reading
