Clash of the Titans Kraken revealed!

Better yet you can finally see exactly what the legendary Kraken looks like! This movie is looking pretty amazing and this new footage keeps the hype level pretty high! Oh yeah and speaking of the Kraken and Clash of the Titans let’s not forget the awesome toy line that came out in 1980! This is on ebay right now too and if I had an extra $300 laying around I’d bid ! Amazing!!!
Kronoforms were all the rage!!!
When I was a kid there was one particular watch that you just needed to have! A Kronoform! These things were so damn popular I think that almost every kid in my class had one! Obviously these were all the rage during the Transformers craze and they could transform into several different things….well sorta. They could definately be a watch and definately be a robot. Now saying it could transform into anything else especially a battle station as seen in the commercial was a bit of a stretch! I guess all you needed to do was the stand the robot on it’s head! Anyway I am not sure what made me think of these this morning but just seeing them in the commercial brought back some fond memories…
TOO GROSS! TOO YUCKY!
In 1987 Mattel introduced a wonderous toy Mad Scientist Monster Lab! “Too Gross! Too Yucky!” is what they proclaimed in their commercials. This may have been true but what I think is more like “too damn awesome!” This playset let you take monster skeletons then put monster flesh on them and then dip them into a vat and watch their flesh sizzle off! Now that was a real toy!

The Power Lords Ruled!
I was recently thinking again about all the cool toys I loved as a kid and still do til this day and the awesome Power Lords by Revell jumped into my head! These guys were so cool and aside from being very detailed many of them were also two sided! Meaning you basically had two charcters in one! My favorite of them was Adam Power, shown in the pic below.
Jesus Action figure set!
It’s Sunday and once again there seems to be one thing on alot of people’s minds, Jesus! So when I stumbled across this Jesus action figure commercial I had to post it! I am no stranger to Jesus, heck my family used to go to church every sunday until the monsignor stole like $60,000 from the church and was having an affair with one of my wretched teachers! To make matters worse our church’s address number was 666!! That is the truth too check out that link if you think I am shitting you! So obviously something was going on there. Don’t you think that when they decided to build the church there they might maybe, well…..consider picking a different space?! Anway check out this Jesus action figure commercial and have a great sunday!
I’ll never forget how cool the Green machine was!!!
When I was a little kid I always loved big wheels. But what I wanted even more was The Green Machine!!! I remember all the cool kids had ’em and while I was riding around on my big wheel the other kids were doing circles around me in their Green Machines!! For some reason I was never able to get one. I think they were a little more pricey at the time or maybe it was because of how many cool ass dangerous moves you could pull off on one these puppies that made my parents fear this amazing vehicle! Anyway I ran across the commercial for it and the envious memories flooded back into my mind. Well now that I am older who’s to say you won’t see me finally cruisin’ the streets on my own Green Machine?!
You Control the Hulk!! Well sorta….
One thing that I love are vintage toys and their commercials! Another thing I love beyond belief is The Incredible Hulk! So check out this “radio controlled” version of the jade giant. Sounds pretty amazing huh? Controlling the Hulk’s every move?! Wrecking havok on all that stand in his way? Well not quite, it was 1980 so you had to take what you could get. How about a blow up doll Hulk attached to a radio contolled stand? Well I certainly thought it was the shit! So what if the rest of his body didn’t move and he moved more slowly than a wasted tortoise! Check this out and see what all the rage was if you were a kid in 1980!

Plus check out this commercial from 1980 for the Incredible Hulk shoes shown above! Yeah I know you’ve seen some recent Hulk shoes that were inspired by the movies and I must say they looked pretty terrible. I’d like to get my hands on a pair of 9 and 1/2 Hulk shoes. I wonder if they made them in adult sizes? May have to check ebay for that and a pair of Hulk Underoos!
Wolverine take off that stupid mask!
Yeah check this out, Wolverine needs to take of that damn mask and put on his real one! You’d think Tom Cruise from “Eyes Wide Shut” was coming over to take him to that fancy Kubrick party with Nicole Kidman! Sorry I had a few too many last night and this is the best I could come up with today…
He-man was the cause of my satanic bahavior!!
I have been so perplexed my entire life as to how I became so deep into satanism and why my family stopped going to church when I was a kid! But now I have uncovered the TRUTH! I was possessed by satan through…..He-Man & The Masters of the Universe. Finally is has been exposed all those years of playing with those toys and come to find out they were taking over my mind! Satan was speaking to me through Skeletor, Man-E-Faces and yes even He-Man himself. Wow this explains EVERYTHING.
