Iron Maiden RETURNS & Eddie Goes to an Evil 80’s Arcade in Their New Video!!

Iron Maiden is the best metal band of all time and they’re back with a new album ready to drop! “Book of Souls” will be out on September 4th of this year and I’m totally pumped for it! I’m even more pumped to see them live again as they’re easily one of the best live bands out there despite the band forming way back in 1975. These guys have more spastic energy than most bands in their twenties and blend a good amount of amazing theatrics into their live shows. So now Maiden returns, a band not guilty as selling out or changing their sound like bands like Metallica remain guilty of doing. Nope Maiden has kept their sound true for the most part their entire career.

They’ve got a brand new song called ‘Speed of Light’ that just so happens to haveT cool new video to go along with it. This one’s a classic style Iron Maiden power metal anthem! They’ve still got the metal magic so check this one out as their mascot ‘Eddie’ decides to hit the arcade and literally ends up being sucked inside of the video games!! I’m so pumped on this!!

Exclusive Iron Maiden 2010 Tour Pics From the Pit!!

Ok last night was totally fucking epic! I finally saw Iron Maiden live in Auburn Washington and  must say it was one of the greatest, if not the BEST live show I have ever seen! We were in the pit and managed to get about 15 feet away from them. It has been a long damn time since I have seen a band with as much energy as Maiden. These guys are in their Fifties and have 10 times the energy than most bands out there half their age. I was truely blown away to see a band have so much fun on stage  performing every song with a smile and sounding damn near perfect.

So a few highlights of the show were Continue reading

My Time has Come-Iron Maiden Here I Come!

There comes a time in your life when you really just have to suck it up and fucking rock. That time has finally come for me as I am preparing to see one of the best bands in the whole damn world for the first and possibly last time, IRON MAIDEN. Sure the tickets were quite pricey and having grown up attending punk rock shows I really haven’t been to that many arena shows in my time. I mean I saw some pretty amazing bands back in the day for six bucks or less, bands that went on to sell millions of albums even. Even living here in Portland Oregon it seems most bands are just too damn afraid to turn up their amps and many times I end up at the same old timid artsy shows-never getting 1/10th of the rock needed to survive the real world properly. But now the time has finally come to admit to myself, it’s time to man up, rock for real and see one of the best concerts of a lifetime.

I have wanted to see Maiden live for years, but some how always seemed to put it off because of pricey tickets Continue reading
