Peter Parker: From Super Nerd to Super Douche Bag!!
Well folks here he is in all of his douchey glory-Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker!! It looks like they’ve got a new look for the new Spider-man and this time it looks like this prick will most likely be hanging outside smokin’ cigs on the football field with Flash Thompson this time around. I gotta say I’m really not so pumped on this revamping of the Spider-man franchise. To me it just feels a little on the cheap side. Either that or maybe Peter Parker is now modeling for J. Crew as his part time high school job? Or maybe he’s singing for some whiny emo band? Whatever the case this is makin’ me miss Tobey in a bad way!
Peter Parker is a nerd not a douche…Hollywood you suck!
Zac Efron as Kaneda…BARF!
Oh my god yeah so great news on the horizon! It seems Hollwood has chosen another amazing untouchable film to thoroughly fuck up!! YAY! So news has hit (at least for me) that mega teen weenie Zac Efron is up for the lead role of Kaneda in the live action bullshit version of the legendary Akira!!!??? Wow that’s so….completely…un-epic…..lame and makes me kinda wanna, well puke in my mouth.
Hi I’m Zac Efron-I’m gonna douche up Akira for you!
Hmm.. maybe they could have gotten a Japanese cast at least? Continue reading
The New Small Screen Hulk: Human or Cg?
So I am quite sure you have all heard the news out there about Marvel’s big plan to reboot the Incredible Hulk television show. I was personally quite surprised at the idea but at the same time excited and upset. The original tv show was one of my all-time favs as a kid and even as an adult I own the episodes on dvd and still will argue that good ol’ Lou Ferrigno is the best Hulk to hit the big or small screen. So what does this all mean for the upcoming tv show?
Rumor has it that it will feature a similar storyline with the “Banner on the Run” theme once again. This all sounds great when you look back at the old series, but still there must be a reason why the two movies were never really that well recieved. When Lou Ferrigno was aksed why the show was such a success and the movies tanked he hit the nail on the head Continue reading
Do We Want Brandon Routh Back?
It certainly seems that Superman is back on track once again with the recent news that Chris Nolan and director Zack Snyder are determined to get the man of steel done right this time! That’s great news for all the legions of Supes fans out there-Who else would you trust more with the character? I guess we could have said that once before when we heard that Bryan Singer was onboard for the last disappointing Superman installment.
Still though I have great expectations that this time around Superman will be kicking ass like he should have been and did before in the late 70’s. The question on everyone’s minds now is who will don the red and blue this time around? Surprisingly Brandon Routh is being considered Continue reading
A Gossipy Bucky Cast In the Cap Film….
It seems the cast of Captain America is really coming together now. So so much so that just yesterday it was annouced that Gossip Girl’s Sebastian Stan will be playing Cap’s legendary sidekick Bucky. I really wanted to touch on this yesterday but alas I worked all day then headed off to our epic official Bad Movie Night which was a blast! Anyway I guess Stan’s signed on for several movies and personally I think that can only really mean one thing, The Winter Soldier will most likely make an appearance in the upcoming Cap movies. Hey you’ve got to admit that’d make a dynamic movie! Heck Sebastian Stan could eventually become Cap himslef too as Bucky did in the comics.
I really honestly have no opinion on this move to cast him as I have never seen anything that he’s starred in! I know that he was in a supposedly awful movie called The Covenant and that he starred in some movie that Fred “Limp Bizkit” Durst dierected that I can only imagine must suck? I guess it is my responsibility to actually go check him out in some of these movies and decide for myself. Looks wise we seems fine as Bucky.
I also hear that he’s in Hot Tub Time Machine as well which I also have not seen. Geez what a help I am here on this one huh? Either way I’m sure he’s right on par with Chris Evans as Cap. I at the very least am happy we didn’t have to wait out the casting of Bucky too!!
Hugo Weaving = The Red Skull!
The rumors are flying that the Red Skull has potentially been cast! But these seem a little more so confirmed than just rumors as Hugo Weaving is in serious talks to play the iconic super villain in the upcoming Captain America movie. It seems that several sources tonight have reported that Weaving will don the red skull upon his head. this is what The Hollywood Reporter had to say about it:
“The dealmaking with Weaving is in a delicate stage that will play out in the next day Continue reading
CURRENT SCOOP ON UPCOMING MARVEL MOVIES!
So what heck has been up with the upcoming Marvel Movies lately? We still haven’t heard too much about the Mighty Thor movie and we STILL don’t know who officially has been cast as Captain America! I have heard rumors of Will Smith, Brad Pitt and Leonardo Dicaprio but still no offcial confirmation of just who will de donning the red white and blue. Well I just stumbled upon some news about these movies last night on Firstshowing.net and it’s getting me pumped about these new feature films. he’s what they had to say:

“Marvel’s president of production Kevin Feige confirmed that Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston were officially cast in Thor. He spoke very highly about both actors, but focused more on Hiddleston, who plays the villain Loki. Feige explained that finding a classic villain that could be sustained over the course of many films and provide the hero with a challenge while also being a mirror of that hero himself was very tough. “Loki has those aspects.” He also did say that Thor takes place on both modern Earth and other worlds like Asgard, confirming what we heard the other day about Donald Blake not being a part of the story and the setting be primarily Earth. And lastly, he said that director Kenneth Branagh would not let them use any classic Shakespearian dialogue like was often used in the comics.
