It’s About Damn Time Clark!

Well isn’t it? I mean how long have we had to wait for this moment? Ten seasons it seems but  let’s still keep in mind it still may not really happen-at most I bet we get just a glimpse of  Tom at the end of the season donning the  red n’ blue tights. But who knows-maybe Zack Snyder will be so  impressed with Welling in the suit that he’ll cast him in his own movie?!  Highly doubtful I know but there have been rumors  of a possible television movie to follow the final season.  I for one feel he should have  hopped in the suit a long time ago! It  probably would have  given the show the kick start it really needed….

Captain America Finally Revealed!

Well it looks like we all finally get a good look at the World War II version of Captain America in the highly anticipated movie! Aside from the costume perhaps looking a little advanced for the 40’s I still thinks it’s a pretty awesome design. I have got to say he looks pretty damn good! In fact I am gonna go as far to say that I think this movie is going to be the best Marvel Comics movie of them all.

Just a gut feeling I guess maybe because I think that the 1940’s ass kicking of dirty Nazi’s is just a a great period piece for a movie. Now we need to see the Red Skull and the rumored Invaders who supposedly fight along side Cap! So far so good!!

A First Look at Cap!

Finally we get a little closer to really see what the movie  Chris Evans version of Captain America is going to look like thanks to Entertainment Weekly. So far so good I say! However we really haven’t gotten a real look at perhaps the most important part of the costume yet-the mask. I have a feeling we’re going to be pleasantly surprised. It seems though from the cover here that we’re most likely seeing his updated version of the costume, as he’s sporting his round shield. From what I gather for most of the movie he’ll be wearing his 1940’s version of the classic costume and using his original shield. There are more pics up online and they all look great-though none yet show his mask…

A Sneak Peek at Cap’s Costume!

Today at TMT I saw a glimpse of what the costume of Captain America will look like in the new movie! Now keep in mind this picture is of a stuntman on a motorcycle-NOT Chris Evans! So if the suit looks a little clunky and weird that’s why. So far I like what I am seeing-even from the stuntman’s costume I can tell they have taken it in the right direction.

The simple fact that the first movie is based on his origin during World War II is incredibly exciting. The fact it has been described as being very Indiana Jones-esque too is music too my ears. The fact that he’ll be fighting a bunch of fucked of Nazi’s too is even better news-because what better villains are there really than a bunch of crazy Nazi’s getting an ass whoopin’? Universal Dork’s – Best Costumes of Comic-Con 2009

Well, Universal Dork has yet another special treat for the loyal followers. Having access to the 2009 San Diego Comic-con allows for a wide variety of things, exclusive movie trailers and previews, TV pilots, Celeb/Creator panels, comics, art, video games, toys…and on and on. But one of the most heralded and timeless aspects of the Comic-con are the attendee’s costumes.

Well, this was my first year attending the Comic-con but the level of participation in donning of costumes met my expectations. So it is with great please that Universal Dork brings you the Best Dressed of San Diego Comic-con 2009. Loyal readers, please keep in mind that approximately 150,000 people were expected at this year’s Comic-con over the course of 4 days, so this is Universal Dorks snippet of the samplings.
