It seems that everyone is losing their damn minds over the recent news that Sam Raimi is no longer directing Spider-man 4, Tobey Maguire is no longer Peter Parker and they’ve decided now to reboot the franchise entirely. Personally I’m pretty excited about this news! I think it’s definately time to give someone else a shot at Spider-man. The way I see it is it’s like a different writer and artist taking over a comic book title. The more I think about it, the more I think that these last three Spider-man movies really weren’t all that great.

I will admit I really enjoyed the first half of the first movie. I think they did a great job with his origin. Then the second half hits with a slaughter of perhaps one of the greatest super villains in comics. Continue reading →
