Do you ever get sick of watching It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol or being forced into watching The Polar Express? Well never again! It’s the season alright and I’m gonna give you some recommendations of  cool movies you might not know or have forgotten were christmas movies! We will start off with a few that should be easy to sneak into the mix and then get into some that maybe a bit of a more difficult sell. This year the relatives can watch some of these instead!

One of my favs is definately Gremlins! Yeah this is totally a christmas movie and one I never get sick of watching. This will be a pretty easy sell for the whole family since pretty much everyone loves this movie. It’s just that alot of people foget it is indeed a christmas flick!

Want another easy sell? Here’s one, Die Hard. Yeah this is a christmas movie too and one pretty much everyone loves as well. Forget Prancer this year! Yippee Ki Yay Motherfucker! 

Here’s the last easy sell, Home Alone. Yeah another one every one loves that’s fun as hell and totally tolerable… 

Ok now here’s a few you maybe able to trick the family into watching just because of the titles. First up is Black Christmas, obviously a christmas movie but better yet one of the best slasher films ever! Plus it has Olivia Hussey in it! Be careful not to get the remake though…

Another one that could be hard to sneak in is Silent Night Deadly Night, but maybe just read aloud the first half of the movies name and mumble the rest?

This one is a great peice of work from 1964! Santa Claus Conquers the Martians will deliver all the goods and the bads too check it out..

The movie Santa’s Slay has been a tradition at my house for the past few years and it’s a damn good time. I even own a copy myself! Even though it stars Bill Goldberg there’s still a good chance your parents will even get into this one…

This British film has an easy enough title to get this on the tube for all the relatives to see! Don’t Open Til Christmas however may have the relatives heading home early though…

Ok last year I did a blog about this awesome movie called Elves that starred Dan Haggerty aka Grizzly Adams! He battles Nazi elves! Need I say more here’s a clip! P.s. this one could be pretty hard to find….

Lastly is Jack Frost. This movie should not be confused with the stupid Michael Keaton movie of the same name, that is unless you are renting it with the family! This won’t be the one they remember but you can always say you thought it was! This killer snowman flick is tons of fun…
