• Well this June marks Logan’s departure from his own title! Yeah as you may already have heard the Wolverine title we all know and love is becoming “Dark Wolverine”  at issue #75. This title is going to follow the exploits of his asinine son Daken as he impersonates his father donning his brown and tan costume. Well at least someone is going to wear that thing!  “Dark Wolverine” will follow his solo adventures he embarks on when he’s not hobnobbin’ around with the Norman “Green Goblin” Osborn’s Avengers.

  • Here’s a rad video for a song by Paul Sabu for the god awful movie “Hard Rock Zombies” from 1985!!  This craptastic movie is essentially one long ultra lame amazing music video! Supposedly, it was only meant to be about 20 minutes long and solely used as the feature movie in the 1985 movie “American Drive In”. Instead it spawned two ultra crappy movies both over an hour and a half in length! The video for it has most of the highlights so please enjoy!!

  • Geez “Old Hulk Dude” sure is creepy huh? Just by the looks of him you know that he’s a total prick! A total prick in need of a serious smackdown! I just think, just maybe, they could have gotten someone with a little more muscle on him to play this older Hulk creature don’t you? He looks like a damn tooth pick next to ‘ol Lou! But let’s be fair-Old Hulk Dude has some seriously flashy moves he flaunts on the real Hulk. Hell, the first time I saw this episode I could NOT wait for this loser to get his ass kicked! So here it is the final battle in this amazing, epic 2 part Hulk episode entitled “The First”. I highly recommend watching both episodes in their entirety. Highly, highly entertaining….

  • Here’s a clip of the old Hulk that the real Hulk fights on the original live action  series from the 70’s! Beware this dude is scary!! Who says the Hulk never fought any cool villains on the show? Tomorrow I’ll post their EPIC battle!!!

  • I knew it wouldn’t be long before Kick-Ass, Marvel’s Icon Imprint Line comic book sensation was made into a movie. Kick-Ass is easily one the BEST comic books to have graced our shelves in the past five years and coming from Ultimates writer Mark Millar I would expect nothing less. Even though this comic seems to have a real hard time coming out on time and takes about five minutes to read it’s always worth the wait. If you haven’t checked this out already you need to get your booty down to the comic shop and pick up the first five issues. I promise you WON’T be disappointed.

  • I am not sure what everyone else thinks about yet another remake of a true horror classic, A Nightmare on Elm Street, but I for one found it just a little bit more comforting when I read an article on Cinematical.com   with the new rumored Freddy Krueger. The word on the street is Jackie Earle Haley, The Watchmen’s own Rorshach will be donning the green and red sweater in the remake.

  • I have been missing a good Alpha Flight title since John Byrne left it in the 1980’s. Yes it’s true I am an Alpha Flight fan and I am proud of  it! I’m STILL pissed off that Bendis killed them off in 2006! I still need to confront him about that (he lives here in Portland Oregon and we see him all over the place) and you know what? Omega Flight just didn’t fill the void. I want the real deal back. Guardian, Sasquatch, Puck, Shaman, Vindicator, Aurora, Northstar, Snowbird and hell even Marrina!

  • Nightwish is an awesome power metal band, but sometimes it’s hard to understand what they are saying. I saw this a while ago and just wanted to share it with everyone who has been curious! A song about a hampster and Steven Seagal has gotta rule right?

  • Although most of you guys know blogger extrordinaire Mr. Saturday for his love of all things Hulk, Star Trek and D&D, you may not know that he was once a world class video gamer. He holds 1st through 6th place records on the internationally beloved old school game ‘Unreal Tournament’. Sure, every one of us has blistered our thumbs attempting to beat level 4-4, but no one played this game with such intensity as Mr. Saturday did. Unfortunately, his ferocious love for UT also led to his decade-long gaming exile. Here is some recently discovered, vintage footage of Mr. Saturday getting ready to set another UT record:

  • In case you haven’t seen this one yet you need to check out the trailer for the  “Where the Wild Things Are” movie set to be released on October 16, 2009! You remember that feeling you got when you watched The Neverending Story for the first time? Judging by this trailer, I think that’s what this movie is going to bring to the table. It’s been quite a while since I have seen a movie that really brought that kind of magic, so I have high hopes for this one!
