I just read some great news about Ghostbusters 3! Bill Murray has finally confirmed what many people thought was simply a rumour being spread by Sigouney Weaver. After her recent interview where she apparently spilled the beans on Murray indeed being in the third installment and even more strange appearing in the movie as a ghost! Almost immediately after that she took back those comments and suddenly started saying she’d never even read the script! What a flake huh?! So up until now people have really been wondering if Murray was even going to appear in the third film at all. There have been many times Murray admits that he’s really not all that pumped by the idea of a third flick. Good thing he got over it because I am pumped!

He just now confirmed the “rumours” that Sigourney was spreading. Looks like she’s not a flake after all but maybe just not the best secret keeper. He said this in his interview with The Daily Mail: “I’ll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.’ So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film.”

Good to know he’ll be back for real. Now I can’t help but wonder why he doesn’t want to be part of the living in the new film? The team is going to be missing one of the best parts of the Ghostbusters. Maybe he will still be part of the team but just relate to Slimer alittle better? Whatever, some good news nonetheless. I can’t wait! Another neat bit of my info is my “connection” to Bill Murray. My mother actually does work for Bill Murray’s ex-wife in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. She sometimes does cleaning jobs there at her home and often chats with Murray’s kids. Apparently he visits that area where my family’s cottage is. So hopefully I can get some juicy details on Ghostbusters 3 myself! All I have to do is convince my mom to become part of the Universal Dork crew!!
