Here it finally is the new trailer for the Clash of the Titans remake by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk). It looks pretty awesome so far to me and I must say I get pretty pumped for new fantasy movies. There just aren’t enough out there! As you can see this looks nothing like the original having a much darker tone to it. So far I’d say the effects look pretty good too. I’ve high hopes for this one-what do you think?
Let’s not forget the original either though…
Huge fan of the original, so the remake’s gonna sting a bit — but I can’t deny that it looks pretty kickass. Of course, what they do with the Kraken is gonna make or break it for this giant monster geek.
Yeah I agree the kraken will be the deciding factor! I expect a giant cg monster-hopefully not a squid…
You know, in the day of remakes, this is one that really makes sense…even if the justification is only that special effects have improved so much from the original. Just watching that trailer makes my hair stand on end. My parents will attest to my absolute addiction to this movie as a child.
But will there be an irritating clockwork owl?
If so, they should still do him in stop-motion 😀
