Whoa just ran across this awesome vintage Rom: Spaceknight action figure commercial! Rom was kinda the shit back in the 1980’s and he was first and foremost a toy before actually being a Marvel Comic book character. Somehow though it seems his staying power wasn’t too strong as we really don’t hear too much about…

Bernie Wrightson is easily one of the BEST artists ever in the world of comic books and fantasy. If you want a monster drawn right in an eerie landscape he’s the man for the job. Which is why he most likely drew this weeks cover of the week. The Incredible Hulk #197 has got the…

Here’s a little picture drawn by yours truly, an idea I hope to someday illustrate to comic book form. This one is called “A Creature Was Stirring” and it’s based on the idea of the legendary Krampus who comes to collect naughty kids on Christmas eve, following Santa’s orders. Things have run smoothly through time…

Could it be true? The Twinkie is gone forever?! No more Ho Ho’s?! No more Ding Dongs?! Or those fruit pies? Or those Cup Cakes? Well truth be told I never ate many Twinkies or Hostess stuff in general when I was a kid, I really wanted to but Mom was always warning me that…

It’s from a great Hulk story arc where he is banished to “The Crossroads”, a strange dream-like world in another dimension, which Doctor Strange exiles him to for quite a few issues. You…

So everyone is making their “Expendables 3” wish list in hopes that the third installment will be even bigger, louder and more ridiculous than the first two. So naturally Universal Dork has got to chime in with a little wish list as well! There are already rumors about Nicholas Cage (whoopdeedoo…) joining the cast and…

Ahhhh the X-men of the 1980’s…..it just doesn’t get any better than that. Which brings me to my pick for comic book cover of the week X-men #195 drawn by Bill Seinkeiwicz. Just knowing Bill did this cover is a no brainer that’s it’s gonna totally rule. This issue features the X-men trying to save…
