Word on the street is that there is once again no decision on who is gonna play the role of Cap! Come on Joe Johnston, you were given the dealine of March 1st to pick someone-get your shit together already! Not only is there no frontfrunner for the part but Johnston has also decided to bring in some more candidates for the part. Now pointing to Channing Tatum from the super studpid G.I. Joe movie and also Ryan Phillipe who starred in the equally lame Cruel Intentions. Wow exciting huh? Not so much.
I am personally biting my tongue for anything I said about Leonardo Dicaprio getting the role of Cap a while back! (more…)
When I was a kid, man Benny Hill confused the shit out of me! My grandparents we’re always watching that show and laughing their damn asses off! I guess it had alot of sexual inuendos and Benny Hill himself was always trying touch or seduce the ladies. Still I just don’t find it a bit funny. I guess I am still just a confused little kid. But what I did find was an appearance by the Savage She-Hulk! I thought this was really weird and totally not really funny but nonetheless interesting. Does anyone else remember Benny Hill or am I alone on this one? Does anyone think this stuff is funny? Well either way here’s Benny Hill and She-Hulk side by side….

So the 1frombeyond’s post got me all fired up yesterday about MY favorite comic book artist of all time, Mr. John Byrne! Ever since I was a kid I loved and knew his artwork. I’d always get pretty pumped when I would see a comic book drawn by him-even at my young age I just knew there was something special about it. Perhaps it was his amazing sense of detail? Either way there are so many things I truely love about his artwork. To me he is one of the All Time Greatest and most influential comic book artists ever. Right up there with Kirby and yes even…um…Liefeld.
Anyway I decided to post some of my favorite pics that I have always loved of his artwork. Whether it’s a cover or interior panel it’s clear he was and is still the master. In a day and age where any and every band is reuniting and Harrison Ford is once again Indiana Jones, I do truely think it’s time that Marvel reunites John Byrne & Chris Claremont for another run on the X-Men!!

I just came across this cool little cartoon series “The Greatest Fan Film of All Time” today and found it to be QUITE amusing! It has alot of neat appearances by some pretty awesome characters and best of all it’s pretty damn humorous! I love the fact to that they include Vindicator of Alpha flight into the mix too as well as The Toxic Avenger as he get’s drunk with Tony Stark. Check out the Stan Lee appearance too near the end-classic! I just watched the first two episodes and it’s pretty cool. Now I’m gonna check out the last three to see how this turns out. check out the first two here:

After putting the Youtube video up yesterday about David Banner in rush hour traffic I thought it would be cool to show you an entire list of ways that he “Hulked Out” in the original live action Tv show from the 70′s starring Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrigno. This list was compiled by Kenneth Johnson the creator of that very series and many other awesome Sci-fi shows like V, Alien Nation and the Bionic Woman. check out his website here at http://kennethjohnson.us/

Here are all the ways listed, and man I am glad my life is no where as unpredictable as Banner’s from the tv show-it’s really unbeleivable the luck this poor guy had. check these out! (more…)

This week we take a look at one of the most fun comics ever created: Marvel Two-In-One. These usually featured the Thing teaming up with someone he didn’t often get to within the Fantastic Four’s monthly title. In this amazing issue, you not only get a bed-ridden Benjamin Grimm, but pretty much every single hero and villain residing in the marvel universe.

Yes, Ol’ Blue Eyes says his signature “Whatta revoltin’ development” and “Idol a’Millions” lines, but the following tidbits are the real reasons every Marvel fan needs to own this issue:

This commercial is just so rad. The Giant Megos were so damn cool I had both Spider-man and the Hulk! In fact as I am typing this I am looking at my giant Hulk Mego I still own from being a little kid. He is missing his torn white shirt (that’s ok the Hulk never sported a white shirt in the comics anyway) but luckily still has those snazzy purple trousers intact. Anyway this particular toy gave me years of fun and was one of my all time favorites. Seeing this commercial brought back some memories of being a kid back when life was a lot less stressful and filled with magic. I will tell you however that when i played with the Hulk he didn’t walk around helping Spidey carry logs in the woods-no way he was kicking major toy action figure ass!! check this out:
