So it’s been confirmed that The Expendables 2 is a go and now what everyone is wondering is who is going to be added to this list of action stars for the second time around? Well all you out there in Hollywood take a seat and listen up-here’s who you gotta put in the next movie! Now I’m only adding people from the 80′s to this list-if you take my advice you’ll definately give the people what they were really hoping for out of the first one-big dumb one liners, lots of real explosions and a lot of fun! I have also just recently heard that Bolo Yeung may possibly be appearing in the sequel-and I have to say if so we’re on the right track here-brilliant!!
1. Chuck Norris – Ok so maybe Chuck is a little old as he just turned 71-but who the hell cares! I am sure he could still throw down a little bit right? Or maybe he could be an evil mastermind or an old wise good guy? I really don’t care just get Walker’s ass in this movie now! Lets not forget how much of a bad ass good ol’ Chuck is!
2. Michael Dudikoff – Ok did all you guys forget about American Ninja? Avenging Force? Dudikoff was the master action star of the 80′s who’s often forgotten! This guys kicked so much serious ass in the 80′s he deserves another shot in the big leagues-he’s only 56 yeah only 56-that’s almost 10 years younger than Sly!

Ok so pretty much every damn movie you can think of is being remade! Seriously think of your fav movie in whatever genre and do a google search I bet that shit is getting remade or in the talks of being remade this very second! So naturally I was not surprised that Fright Night was announced as being remade a while back. Really, Fright Night, aside from The Lost Boys is probably the best vampire flick of the 80′s! Even part two is pretty good. So now especially with the super shitty Twilight series getting all the hype and melting the populations brains into the size of rat turds it seems EVERYONE is trying to do a damn vampire movie! So now we’ve gotta sit through all these “sexy”, “erotic” and “mysterious” vampire movies and their ultra dull characters again!!! I get to see one of my fav vampire films get remade….oh the joy of Hollywood.
So yeah Anton Yelchin of Chekov fame in the latest Star trek film has been cast as Charley Brewster. (more…)

Word on the street is that there is once again no decision on who is gonna play the role of Cap! Come on Joe Johnston, you were given the dealine of March 1st to pick someone-get your shit together already! Not only is there no frontfrunner for the part but Johnston has also decided to bring in some more candidates for the part. Now pointing to Channing Tatum from the super studpid G.I. Joe movie and also Ryan Phillipe who starred in the equally lame Cruel Intentions. Wow exciting huh? Not so much.
I am personally biting my tongue for anything I said about Leonardo Dicaprio getting the role of Cap a while back! (more…)

Well some people seemed to think that ”The Office” star John Krasinski would be perfect cast as Captain America. I’m not quite sure if it was just because of his appeal from the show, his quirkiness or his acting chops. For me, though he seemed a familiar face and a funny guy just really couldn’t see him as Cap. So today I was a bit relieved when it was officially decided today that he is NOT going to be wielding the shield. For me I will take a sigh of relief. Really he’s the least douchey of all the candidates-so in the end perhaps who knows, maybe he would have been the best choice?
But for now I have faith they will choose someone who screams “Cap” a little more. I heard as well that Chris Evans who played The Human Torch in the god-awful Fantastic Four flicks was up for the role as well now. Personally I’m holding out for my first pic ”Tron Legacy” star Garrett Hedlund to snatch the role! I mean he’s in the Tron sequel with Jeff Bridges!! Oh yeah the new trailer for Tron:Legacy was also released-check it out here!

I read at Deadline Hollywood and Moviehole.net that Joe Johnston has finally got a list of potential contenders for the role of Captain America! First off let me say they are all relatively unknown which could be a good thing if you were a little weary of the option of Leonardo Dicaprio or Will Smith getting the role of Captain America. It seems they must simply be doing this for money costs since it has been stated that the lead will only be paid about $300,000 for this lead role. My thinking is they’ve already given Robert Downey Jr. too much damn money and they know it.
Either way it’s nice to finally know we’re getting closer to actually knowing who will wield the shield! I heard some more well known actors however would be cast as his teamates the Invaders in the movie. So here’s the list of seven contenders-I was nice enough to put their pictures up so we can all debate about who it should and shouldn’t be! Remember we’re looking for a wholesome, apple pie eating, small town, all american guy here..basically kind of a douchebag!

I have been saying for quite a while here that I’ve been hoping for some real concrete news on the Captain America movie and finally some has arrived! This is what I have heard so far. First, as we all guessed it’s been confirmed, according to Ain’t it Cool News that The Red Skull will indeed be the villain (duh) and I assume Hitler will be chumming around with him too. Secondly they’re supposedly they are going to make Cap’s costume a bit more like it was in the earlier days I’m guessing like something between the The Ultimates 40′s Cap and current days non Bucky Cap.
Third and most exciting of the news is that Captain America will be joined on the big screen by The Invaders!! (more…)

It was a big deal to William Shatner when he heard that the latest Star Trek Film would be featuring Leonard Nimoy returning as Spock but seemingly no Captain Kirk in sight. Shatner appeared angered with JJ Abrams’ decision and claimed he himself brought Kirk back to life in a mere few pages of one of his books, “very easily”. I think it was a great decision to keep the captain in the world of the deceased, especially since he already died In “Generations”. Well as you may have already heard Shatner is back in the spotlights to appear in the second film.
Shatner upon hearing the news he was not cast In the Abrams helmed “Start Trek”
You really didn’t think ol’ Shat would stay out of the picture for long did you? (more…)

The big news about the sequel to Predator is that they signed on a lead role in the film! Yeah it has been confirmed that Adrien Brody will be doing battle as the main character for “Predators”. I am not sure how I feel about this choice yet. It’s a big leap from Arnold but a much better choice than Danny Glover. I guess what we can expect is some better acting than the first two films. But does a Predator sequel really need a good actor? As much as I can’t picture Brody taking on the legendary aliens I’m not too sure who I would want to see cast in the role. Who from todays actors is a wise choice? Do we really need a modern day muscle bound action hero to make this film a worthy sequel? From what is have recently read it seems alot of people think it’s an unwise casting choice. what do you think?

Rumors are flying that Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe is up for the role of Bilbo Baggins. Thank god it’s not Justin Timberlake! From what I read at The Los Angeles Times’ Hero Complex blog, he’s one of several actors being considered in Guillermo del Toro’s “Hobbit” to play the lead. James McAvoy (“Wanted”) is also apparently in the running as well.
Hey Potter put some clothes on you’re making Shadowfax nervous!
