Check out this brand new trailer for the upcoming “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” movie. This is the prequel that tells the story of how the apes became “intellegent” and then became the rulers of Earth. It looks like a pretty interesting movie so far and hopefully it will be leaps and bounds better than Tim Burtons flop! This is one story that needs to be told and so far it looks like Weta has done a good job with the Apes-what do you think?

This clip brightened my day today as it brought back some great memories of being a kid. The legendary Star Wars episode of The Muppet Show! This is a great skit here where Star Wars and Pigs in Space collide! Enjoy!!

It’s been a few days since I have blogged on here and I will admit it’s actually been because I have been super busy with a new store I am starting right here in pdx! Nope I haven’t been out partyin’ down every night I’ve been hard at work on “Hollywood Babylon” a vintage / modern cothing resale store. Hopefully next time Danzig comes through town he’ll stop by so I can sock him in the face! Oh I’ll be just as happy to sock Jerry Only in the face too!
Also I came down with some sort of flu like fever last night, and it’s kinda funny I tried to watch Twilight: New Moon last night. I must have been sick huh? I made it almost to the end and then just flat out didn’t give a shit. Hey I tried…
Anyway so today feeling a bit groggy I feel like I may need to actually rent myself a good movie to bring my spirits back up-so per a recommendation of a friend I was given this suggestion. Jake West’s “Evil Aliens”.
I actually recently did a blog about his latest movie Doghouse and this one looks just as good! It supposedly came out in 2005-how the hell could this have slipped under my radar? Check out the trailer:

Oh my god yeah so great news on the horizon! It seems Hollwood has chosen another amazing untouchable film to thoroughly fuck up!! YAY! So news has hit (at least for me) that mega teen weenie Zac Efron is up for the lead role of Kaneda in the live action bullshit version of the legendary Akira!!!??? Wow that’s so….completely…un-epic…..lame and makes me kinda wanna, well puke in my mouth.
Hi I’m Zac Efron-I’m gonna douche up Akira for you!
Hmm.. maybe they could have gotten a Japanese cast at least? (more…)

I stumbled upon this movie preview while searching for the trailer for a movie called “Primal” which will be showing soon at the H.P. Lovecraft film festival here in Portland Oregon in October. What I ended up finding was a movie by the same name that looks even better than the one being shown at the festival! Now it seems also that any movie now day that’s got a guy in a furry suit will have to star Lance Henrickson (Abominable, Sasquatch, Sasquatch Mountain)-what gives Lance? Why you so damn obsessed with Bigfoot and Chaka?
Apparently the movie is now going by the name “The Lost Tribe” and will be released October 19th. From the looks of it it seems that Chaka from Land of the Lost just got seriously pissed off check this out!

Here’s a video fellow dork Eljamez played for me yesterday right before an epic night of D&D! Check this video out as it shows what Darth Vader is like when he’s truely in love.
Thoughts of his ultra lame love affair with Padme are obviously a thing of the past as a determined Vader meet’s his ideal woman. If you haven’t already seen this one, check it out as I’m sure it will brighten your day!!

Ok first off I wanna say I’m sorry for the lull in the blogs for the past few days but I am temporarily out of internet service which can make blogging a bit difficult! Hopefully this will be resolved by the weekend but for the moment I am catching a wireless signal on my roomie’s laptop! So I figured I should at least put up a quick blog!
Anyway it’s news to me but today I found out that there is indeed going to be a remake of one of my all time fav sci fi movies: Fantastic Voyage! If you have yet to see the original you best rent that as soon as possible as it is truly fantastic. The 1966 movie is pretty amazing as a submarine and it’s crew are shrunk down and injected in to the body of a dying man racing against time to repair a blood clot in his brain. The only problem is after an hour inside the body it’s immune system will be able to detect them. Now imagine this movie made in 1966-no cg. You might think it’d be a simply ridiculous looking movie. Not the case, for it’s time and even now I’d say the movie still has some great visuals and a helluva alot of charm. (more…)

So here we are just one episode away from the grand finale of LOST!! I never thought we’d ever be this close to the end of the series. It’s been a good run so far this season but I’m seriously hoping that the ending is seriously epic and that it will be something we will be talking about for months. It’s going to be sad to say goodbye to all of the crew, Hurley, Jack (whom I have grown to love), Sawyer, Kate, Jin, Sun and most of all Locke! I have said it for a long time, ever since the beginning actually that Locke was the most important and intriguing character on the entire show. But now we all wonder how long Locke has been the real Locke, if the real Locke will indeed return and most of all his significance to the entire show. Anyway I today just ran across a picture painted of Locke by none other than everybody’s fav shock rocker Marilyn Manson. Now I’m not a huge fan of Manson’s music but I have always found him to be quite interesting to say the least. Who would have thought he too was such a big LOST fan and even more so loved Locke so much that he painted a portrait of him!!

These new developments of the Alien prequel have gotten me so excited I began to have visions of an action figure only a couple lucky friends of mine had back in the day. Yes this was the 1979 Alien action figure! They actually made action figures for kids back in the 70′s for movies that were rated R!
You couldn’t go see the movie but you could make your Alien action figure feast on Barbie or Ken seven days a week!! (more…)

So obviously I am completely pumped on the Alien prequel that Ridley Scott has in the works! I mean the original director doing the prequel to one of the best Sci Fi films ever in this day and age?? I really never thought it would happen. Now we can really get back to business with not only the Predator but now the Alien as well. I know I could get alot of shit for this but I actually enjoyed the AVP movies! But now I also liked Freddy Vs. Jason too! Yeah just some dumb fun really that some people took just too damn seriously! Anyway having Ridley back leading the franchise in the right direction again has had alot of people wondering some of the secrets of the new upcoming movie.
Here’s some stuff I found out over at BloodyDigusting.com via MTV straight from Scott Himself: (more…)
