It’s late and I just got done reading Ign.com’s Top 100 Comic book villains of all time. It was a good list I must say but I was extremely upset one particular villain didn’t make the cut! Seriously why was “Leaper Logan” left out?!!!

I know this has got a pretty big buzz going on around it right now but I decided to post it anyway. I still can’t beleive this was made for only $5,000.00! Can that really be? Anyway I have just started watching it about 10 minutes ago and so far it’s pretty rad! So check this out and let me know what you think of it! I’ll let you know my full opinion after I finish! Man, I cannot WAIT for The Hobbit!! But for now this will just have to suffice!!

Today was one of those rare comic days where I not only find myself overwhelmed by the amount of pulls that week but that I am also totally satisfied by my purchase’s content.
My haul for today (Note: I didn’t see Ghost Rider #35 or that would be reviewed for sure):
Wolverine #72, Wolverine Origins #36, Crossed #5, New Avengers #53 and X-Force #15

With the economy in a shambles and money flow down, new comic day can be a little trickier than it used to be. I’ve already dropped alot of titles that just weren’t cutting it anymore and with many comic books now moving their prices up to $3.99 a pop I’ve really become alot more choosy on what I read every week. It seems to me alot of the Marvel stuff I was reading I’ve left at the wayside. Poor stories and barely acceptable artwork runs common in many of their titles. Even our homeboy Bendis seems to have lost his magic touch. There however are a few titles that always seem to make the cut. “The Walking Dead” is a no brainer and probably the BEST comic book out there today. But there’s also another horror comic which is delivering the chills consistantly, Garth Ennis’s “Crossed”.

Wow Queen sure knew how to write some totally awesome songs for fantasy movies in the 1980′s! Let’s not forget that they also wrote the theme song to the amazing Flash Gordon movie. Just seeing this video makes me want to run out and rent this! Check it out:

I just saw Terminator Salvation today and I liked it. It was a good solid action flick with some pretty rad special effects along with a suprise appearance from CG Arnold!! HA! It was definately a worthy addition to the franchise and had a cool story with a whole new outlook on the Terminator universe. But enough about that really because seeing this movie only got me even more riled up about the whole time travel aspect of this series. Bottom line-it makes no sense!! And if it does someone please enlighten my feeble mind!
My name is John Connor I was born without a father! I don’t exist! Hmm I guess then I need to send my buddy back in time to make me ASAP!!

The Surrogates was a great, seriously under-rated, sci-fi comic book! I had always thought it would make a great movie, so it’s nice to see that it finally has made it to the big screen. The premise is simple. The year is 2054, people are using robotic surrogates to live their lives while they remain at home logged into a network. Their surrogates are much more beautiful, perfect versions of themselves and give their real counterparts virtually no risk of danger in the real world.

The other day I was re-reading the somewhat forgotten Wolverine graphic novel, ‘The Jungle Adventure’, a great solo Wolverine story by Walt Simonson and Mike Mignola.
In this tale, Wolverine escapes from his recent troubles with the X-Men by hanging out in the Savage Land. Eventually he becomes a pretty prominent member of a native tribe, even fighting Apocalypse in their defense.
But the real gold is that while there, he fucks a very large woman named Ghack who delivers his son, unbeknownst to him. This little guy’s name is Erista and nobody has given a shit about him since 1990!!

Here's his bangin' mom holding him
Instead we have this Daken dipshit running around the MU with his ‘tribal tats’ and mohawk, crying to everyone within earshot about his daddy issues. I think the time is now for the return of Erista, savage-land warrior with Wolverine’s blood, to surface in the MU, put Daken out of his misery and stake his claim as the original Wolverine offspring.
Oh and anyone else out there wondering about Lynx? She was like a daughter to Wolverine and last we saw her, it was 1993 and she was left to fend for herself in the Candian wilderness. Let’s get her back too so she can show X-23 (or Laura or whatever) who’s boss!
A friend of mine just sent me a link to this video and it was pretty awesome! What would you take if given the choice Wolverine’s claws or his healing factor?
